5) How come I don’t qualify to register?
ANSWER: You must have a PLDT postpaid bill and you must have paid all of your unsettled accounts. It is necessary that you settle all your un-paid dues since your transactions online will be charged to your PLDT statement of account. The latter is needed, as PLDT will not allow users to purchase additional items on credit. To qualify for registration, simply ensure you have a PLDT phone line, Internet connection and that you have paid all of your outstanding balances with PLDT.
6) What can I buy online?
ANSWER: Currently, there are three purchases/services you can find on PLDT myPad:
1. Ragnarok pre-paid PINs
2. PC texting (sending messages to PC’s and mobile phones)
3. Ringtones and Logos
4. Certain Exclusive Video and Music Clips
5. Khan PINs
7) How do I buy Ragnarok PINs?
ANSWER: Simply choose what denomination you want (P10, P20, P50, P100 and P350) and enter your Ragnarok username. Your Ragnarok account will then be automatically topped up. PLDT will NOT be liable if you enter the wrong username or denomination, so please make your choice carefully before purchasing.
Note that ALL Ragnarok PINs sold in PLDT myPad are sold at a 10% discount, so it is cheaper to buy them online.
8) How does your PC texting work?
ANSWER: Simply enter the mobile number you want to text enter your message, click send and then your message will be converted into an SMS/ text message that will be sent to the mobile number you inputted. You can also send messages to other PC’s as well. All messages you send will be automatically charged to your PLDT phone bill.
