13) Can I check my email in myPad? 

ANSWER: Yes, but the Microsoft Outlook web access email is exclusive to PLDT myDSL and Vibe subscribers.

14) Do I have to be a subscriber of PLDT myDSL or Vibe to be able to Register for a myPad account? 

ANSWER: No, PLDT myPad is open to all PLDT land line subscribers with good credit standing. However, for the email account feature, you must be a PLDT myDSL and Vibe subscriber

15) How safe is it to use/transact in myPad?  

ANSWER: the myPad account can only be accessed via a user name and password, so the usage is restricted to those who have access to them. myPad also monitors your expenses. Since all transactions are charged to your landline phone bill, you will see how many transactions you have made. Also, you avoid the hassle of providing your credit card information online because all your online transactions will be reflected on your PLDT landline billing statement, so you can be guaranteed that our system is secure. As a bonus, we give a 10% discount on all our gaming pins.

16) Who has authorization to increase the credit Limit? 

ANSWER: only the subscriber on record has the authority to request for an increase his/her credit limit, however it is subject to approval, depending on one’s credit standing. The request can be made by calling 171


17) What if I have consumed my credit limit before my billing cycle is over, but I still want to make transactions? 

ANSWER: A subscriber has two options regarding his/her credit limit:
a. the subscriber can have his/her credit limit reset even if they have consumed it before their billing cycle ends. In order to do this, they must:
1. Pay directly to our Business Office
2. upon approval of payment, lead time for credit limit reset is up to 48 hours
3. an email notification will be sent to confirm that the credit limit has already been reset.
b. The subscriber can opt to have his/ her credit limit Increased. This is different from a credit limit reset, due to it still being bounded by the billing cycle cut off dates. On some cases, an account holder chooses to increase his credit limit, for this situation, we advice the subscriber to contact 171 to help them facilitate the request.
