Questions on Applying:

 

1. What types of customers can avail of the promo?

           

a.)     Program is open to business subscribers only.

b.)     New Accounts: New applications or switchers to PLDT myDSL Biz

c.)     Existing MSI subscribers: For those applying for a DSL BIZ line.

 

-         Customers may be on the whitelist or non-whitelist:

                                                   i.      Whitelist: good paying customers

                                                 ii.      Non-whitelist: Either delinquent credit history or new applicants with no previous records with PLDT

 

2. Where can potential customers sign up for the promo?

 

The promo is available nationwide. Customers can either go to a PLDT Business Office, log on to www.mypad.net, or call 171.

 

  1.  When can the customer avail of the promo?

 

The promo is only available from May 8  to June 8, 2006.

 

  1. What documents must the customer present to avail of the promo?

 

 

All customers must submit the following:

a.)     Filled-up application form, depending on the service subscribed

b.)     Any of the following valid IDs: Current company ID, driver’s license, TIN/SSS/GSIS or Alien Certificate of Registration (for foreigners)

c.)     Letter of authorization and ID from the subscriber on record is required when another individual is redeeming the promo offer

For New subscribers who did not receive the direct mailer:

·         Advance payment of 1 month MSF for DSL BIZ and MSI, install fee

·         Any one tracking doc plus any one income doc (Please refer to Credit Policy on SME Free PC Promo for the list of documents to be required)

 

Note:

q       All documents presented must be original. Photocopies will not be allowed.

 

  1. Are customers allowed to pre-terminate their service in order to avail of the promo?

 

No, a customer may not pre-terminate his current service to avail of the promo. If he terminates an existing service, he is disqualified from joining the promo.

 

  1. If a customer avails of the promo and chooses to pre-terminate his service, what does he have to do?

 

If the subscriber opts to terminate his PLDT myDSL Biz subscription within the lock-in period, he must visit a PLDT Business Office and submit a formal document requesting for the termination thereto and will be charged applicable pre-termination fees.

 

 

Questions related to Program Control:

 

  1. Are the documentary requirements the same for all offers?

 

Documents required upon application differ, depending if they are whitelist or non-whitelist customers, and whether they are new or switching subscribers.

 

 

 

  1. Can a representative transact on behalf of the subscriber on record?

 

Yes, as long as he presents a letter of authorization and ID from the subscriber who received the direct mailer and brings his own valid ID, together with the coupon attached to the mailer.

 

  1. For customers who apply for the program in the business office, how do they get their free items?

 

 

                                      a.      For PLDT business office:

i.         PLDT myDSL BIZ services: Regular processing. DSL freebies are to be delivered when the service is installed.

 

 

  1. How will PLDT ensure that a customer availing of the promo will not avail of the promo and later, just pre-terminate his plan?

 

Customers must fill up and sign the following forms which are actually a contract with PLDT

 

                                                              a.      PLDT myDSL BIZ Free PC Conforme letter

 

Questions on Promo Mechanics:

 

  1. Once customers have availed of the promo, can they downgrade their plan before the contract term is completed?

 

Customers are not allowed to downgrade from the plan they originally subscribed to for both services. If they wish to downgrade, they must pre-terminate their plan and pay the corresponding termination fees.

 

  1. For those who are not PLDT landline subscribers, can they avail of the PLDT myDSL BIZ promo?

 

The new subscribers of PLDT myDSL must avail first of a PLDT landline subscription before they avail of the promo.

 

 

  1. If the subscriber is currently subscribed to a previous promo, can he/she avail of the Double Deal Promo?

 

Current PLDT myDSL cannot avail of the promo, unless it is for a second connection.

 

  1. What is the lock-in period? What are the termination fees of the services? 

 

Any promo bundle: 24 months lock-in per service

 

If the subscriber disconnects his service before the lock-in period is completed, the subscriber will be charged the following termination fees:

a.       PLDT myDSL: 3 months MSF + cost of PC

 

 

Definition of terms:

 

1)       White List:

a)       PLDT:  Accounts with good payment history for the past 12 months

2)       Non-white list:

a)       PLDT: customers who have been high risk even at least once for the past 12 months

b)       New subs

 

3)       DM: direct mailers

 

 

Wireless myDSL is not included in the promo.
