PROFILE:
Niels
Christian Kaldau is no stranger to
victory! He has won 14 events in his
career—most recently the Helexpo Thesseloniki
Grand Prix in 2005. He participated
for Denmark in the recent Thomas Cup
Finals by winning both his matches
to help Denmark to a 2nd place finish
for the second time in a row.
Taking
on Hidayat and/or Lin Dan will be
an entirely different prospect at
the MVP Cup for Niels. However, he
is an experienced player (playing
competitively since 1997) and his
spirit shows through. Recently at
the European Championships, he wore
the phrase “the butcher” on his shirt;
clearly a sign that he is ready to
take on all challengers! |
