PROFILE:
Wang Chen has been on the top of her game since taking home the 1996
World Cup title when she represented China. Now playing for Hong Kong,
she has won or been runner up in 24 event including the 2006 Asian
Championships. In 2006, her worst finish is Quarter Finals at the
Indonesia Open; other than that, she’s won or made the Semi Finals
of all other events.
Chen has the right mixture of power and grace and her record against
Mia Audina is 5 wins, 5 losses! Against Yao Jie—against
whom she may battle in the Captain’s selection match—she has
