MYMP is one of the favorite acoustic
acts in the country today. They play
smooth, soothing acoustic renditions
of past hits like Especially For You,
Bob Marley's Waiting In Vain and Sting's
Every Little Thing.
Originally,
MYMP was a 4-piece all-guy rock band.
Then later on became a show band, to
a trio, which opened their doors to
having a debut album. Their biggest
break came when Raymond Ryan, iFM's
station manager, watched one of their
gigs and met up with a producer to produce
their album, Soulful Acoustic, which
now garnered a Platinum Award. Later
on, Ivory Records took MYMP under their

Westlife
is one of those boy bands we will never
forget. This group shed their teeny-bopper
image to take on more challeges as mature
music artists.
WESTLIFE garnered much success with
34 million album sales world wide. They
are famous for their hit songs…
“Amazing, lushly –arranged
soaring ballad - Flying Without Wings,
Fool Again, Hey Whatever, Obvious, Unbreakable
and Uptown Girl ”. They really
have won the hearts and ears of their
followers since the dawn of popular
music. Westlife is the only group who
can do duets with the quintessential
pop diva , Diana Ross, in the remake
of When You Tell Me That You Love Me
. In the interpretation of “You Raise
Me Up”, Westlife takes the anthemic
approach throughout the song, down to
the use of bagpipes and the booming
crescendo with a choir towards the end.

Clint
and Bob Moffatt (21 yrs) were members
of one of the world's most successful
pop/rock bands in the 90's, The Moffatts.
Clint (bass guitar, lead vocals) and
Bob (drums, vocals) are the identical
twins of the band. Bob, Clint and their
two siblings (David and Scott) started
as a professional country music act
in 1994 after a move with their father
to Nashville. In 1995 they became the
youngest band to ever be signed to a
major label recording contract.
Greater
success came for the boys in 1998 when
they changed musical direction to pop
music with the release of "Chapter One:
A New Beginning”. The album debuted
in 1998 and sold more than two million
copies worldwide going platinum and
gold in 30 countries including multiple
platinum in Indonesia, Malaysia, The
Philippines, and Thailand, and gold
in Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, and
Taiwan. Their second single, "I Miss
You Like Crazy," was No. 1 throughout
Asia for 13 consecutive weeks.

| Backstreet
Boys |

As teen idols, they sold more than 13
million copies each of their first two
U.S. albums, "Backstreet Boys" (1997)
and the No. 1 (in 25 nations) "Millennium"
(1999). "Black and Blue" followed (2000),
moving 8 million copies, and then "Hits:
Chapter One" (2001), another platinum
triumph. Along the way, the group logged12
top 40 hits, 8 of those reaching the
top 10.
Today,
nearly a decade since their initial
success-and following a healthy 3-year
breather-each group member admits that
they needed time to catch up, grow up
and gain some perspective on the whirlwind
of fame.

Rule |

The
early 20's saw the rise of stardom of
rap sensation Ja Rule. He initially
caught the interest of many when his
hardcore rugged thug rap album Venni
Vetti Vecci was released in 1999.
Ja
Rule's breakout hit "Holla Holla" ruled
the airwaves. But this was just the
tip of the iceberg. His follow up album
Rule 3:36 saw Ja Rule teaming up with
music vixens Christina Millan. Lil'
Mo and Vita. This produced enormous
hits such as Between Me and You, I Cry
and Put It On Me. These duets established

talented performer, it's no surprise
that Christian Bautista has extended
his immense success to Indonesia. This
23-year old tenor, who sidelines as
the country's number one swoon-worthy
hottie, made make hearts aflutter when
he staged his first ever major concert

Not
only is he tagged as one of the country's
top acoustic acts but is better known
in the industry as Mr. Musikero. He
was one of the first local artists featured
on PLDT MYMUSIC alongside Nina and Nyoy
Volante.
Known for his original compositions
that endeared him to both critics and
listeners alike, singing cover songs
might seem very unlikely of Jimmy, but
to him, it's refreshing. People raved
about his original songs "Let Me Be

| Tiesto
|
 |
Not many DJs have experienced the
rush of being voted the world's number
one in DJ Magazine's prestigious poll.
No other DJ can claim to have won
it three times, let alone consecutively.
But Tiësto's is a career punctuated
by landmark achievements - the first
DJ in the world to sell out a solo
stadium event for over 25,000 people,
he scored a number one hit with his
single Traffic, the first instrumental
track to reach the top spot in his
homeland of Holland in 23 years. His
remix of Delerium featuring Sarah
McLachlan's Silence was the first
house track ever broadcast on daytime
radio in North America, (it became
an international dancefloor anthem
and also spent eight weeks in the
UK
top 10 chart).
He played live in front of billions
of people during the Parade Of The
Athletes at the official opening ceremony
of the Olympic Games in
Athens
. But despite his meteoric
success, Tiësto remains grounded about
his achievements and clearly loves
making and playing music above the
accolades it brings.
On Black Hole Tiësto has released
the Magik and In Search Of Sunrise
mixcompilation series, and most recent
Nyana. His remix of 'Delerium featuring
Sarah McLachlan - Silence' was the
first house track ever broadcasted
on daytime radio in North America
and was eight weeks in the
U.K.
top 10 chart.
