Same Same
Clint and Bob Moffatt (21 yrs) were members of one of the world's most successful pop/rock bands in the 90's, The Moffatts. Clint (bass guitar, lead vocals) and Bob (drums, vocals) are the identical twins of the band. Bob, Clint and their two siblings (David and Scott) started as a professional country music act in 1994 after a move with their father to Nashville. In 1995 they became the youngest band to ever be signed to a major label recording contract.

Greater success came for the boys in 1998 when they changed musical direction to pop music with the release of "Chapter One: A New Beginning”. The album debuted in 1998 and sold more than two million copies worldwide going platinum and gold in 30 countries including multiple platinum in Indonesia, Malaysia, The Philippines, and Thailand, and gold in Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, and Taiwan. Their second single, "I Miss You Like Crazy," was No. 1 throughout Asia for 13 consecutive weeks.

In Thailand, the guys enjoyed great success with the album still counted amongst the biggest international sellers of all time. The Moffatts made more than one thousand TV appearances worldwide and played close to five thousand live performances. Their last album sold close to one million copies.

The guys latest and most exciting chapter is now about to unfold. Bob and Clint moved to Thailand earlier this year and have recently signed with SONY BMG MUSIC. The duo will release their first Asian exclusive album in Thailand under the name 'SAME SAME.' The classically pop album was produced by highly celebrated Thai producer Warut “Curious George” Rintranukul (Bird “Thongchai McIntyre, Smile Buffalo, Ebola and Tata Young, etc).

In this album the brothers revisit their pop roots similar to the sound that launched The Moffatts to global superstar status. That being said, the duo’s musical maturity commands attention with its soulful lyrics and wonderful sense of musical fluidity. They have used their experiences from over a decade working in the music industry over the past few years to create this album. The result is impressive! SAME SAME is an album that truly reflects their very real and raw musical talents and guarantees to touch the hearts and minds of youngsters the world over. Not only did they write their own music, they co-produced the album as well.

The lead off single “Supermodel” is an upbeat song with a catchy hook, "I'd like…like to get to know you better." After hearing this track, people will surely want to get to know the guys better… a lot better. The boys have also put down some of the sweetest ballads ever to hit Asia. Songs like “Stay” and “Hearts Collide” have “hits” written all over them, whilst “Love Isn’t” is bound to be one of the biggest songs of 2006! On all these songs, Clint shows off the voice that made the young and not so young girls swoon all over Asia all those years ago.

This album has something for everyone. Classic pop aficionados will love “City lights” and “It Can't Get Any Worse”, whilst those into soft rock will thump along to enjoy “The Meaning of Happy" and "Strange Lover”.

Both Clint and Bob are extremely happy with their completed work and are ready to support the release with touring. They believe that through the completed album, they have successfully represented who they are and what they are all about. This highly anticipated album will be released in mid March 2006.
