Reaffirming and nurturing the Filipino’s youth commitment to leadership, social responsibility and academic professional excellence geared toward nation-building.

The TOSP Program provides a venue for the nation’s best in various fields to renew the moral values that guided their endeavours, gather strength from shared experiences and aspirations, and work together for future collective effort.

The TOSP Awards Program is a recognition of what the Filipino youth can do and achieve. It celebrates the burgeoning idealism being exemplified by each year’s nominees from all over the nation and challenges them to continue lives of committed service in their communities and as they enter their professional lives.

The TOSP dates back to 1961, when businessman Jose Concepcion, Jr. then the publisher of Student Life Magazine, envisioned an annual recognition of outstanding students.
The TOSP was lunched on June 19, 1961, aptly on the 100th birthday of Dr. Jose Rizal. It was held continuously until Martial Law was declared in 1972.
The Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines is a project of the RFM Foundation, the Commission on Higher Education, RFM Corporation and in Cooperation with National Bookstore and the Rotary Club of Makati Central.
